獺祭可說是日本清酒的代名詞，人氣極高，適合不同場合飲用，而且品質穩定，是每次撰寫推薦清酒的文章也會提及的大吟釀品牌。長期穩佔清酒排行榜頭三甲位置，也是不少初嚐SAKE人士的入門之選。


「獺祭」在二十年間躍升為日本最受歡迎的清酒品牌，不但性價比高，更多次被美國總統點選。

此瓶清酒每年只限售2次，是非常珍貴的限售品。以山田錦米精米步合度三割九分釀成，是無過濾的生原酒。「槽場汲み」的意思是從剛釀好的新酒中央位置抽取出來的酒；而獺祭每年只會在春天和秋天進行這樣的操作。入口清新甘美，香氣濃郁，果實香強烈；建議座冰冷飲。
