More than 50 years after the launch of Mag Whiskey, the distillery attempted to create a new product. Based on the traditional flavor of Mag Whiskey, it hoped to strengthen the caramel and vanilla flavors and reduce the tannins that are the main cause of bitterness. , so the winery cooperates with the barrel maker to try to use various recipes through continuous experiments, They first took the matured Mag whiskey out of the barrel, put 10 double-sided lightly grilled French oak bars in the oak barrel, then filled the wine back into the barrel, and continued to mature in a low-temperature cellar environment For 2 to 3 months, this process strengthens the influence of wooden barrels on the wine and adds more complex flavor levels.

Before the launch of Mega 46 whiskey, countless experiments were carried out, including the influence of different temperatures of barbecued wood and the degree of charring on the flavor of the liquor. The coopers numbered these special wood strips and created hundreds of experiments Barrel, and Mega 46 is the work of using file number 46 wood, so this whiskey is named after 46.

"Meg 46" was launched in 2010. It is produced in small batches and introduced in limited quantities. It is recommended as an entry-level wine for trying bourbon whiskey for the first time.
