Introducing from the nature and spirit of Japan, the House of Suntory Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak. This single malt Japanese whisky is from the Kogei Collection of the Japanese Kimono Edition. Distilled in the oldest distillery in Japan, the Yamazaki Distillery, bottled at an alcohol strength of 43%.
This dark amber opens gently with smoky notes on the nose and gives rich floral flavors of bitter orange marmalade and dark chocolate. Sophisticated smokiness enters the palate in harmony with notes of soft sweetness and faint citrus.
This limited edition offering pays homage to “Kogei,” or “traditional Japanese craft,” and The House of Suntory’s long history of master craftsmanship. An unending source of inspiration, this craft values both the creative process and beauty of the final product. It reflects the ongoing dedication to innovation and the Monozukuri philosophy of House of Suntory.
The Yamazaki packaging, which features patterns based on Chiso kimonos, has elaborate graphics that are influenced by the tranquil Yamazaki distillery. The image of three rivers merging conveys a sense of serenity, a touch of gold lends elegance and reminiscent of drifting clouds.
