2017 年推出的 Concept No. 1 以超現實藝術為靈感。「麥卡倫 Concept Number 1」是一款充滿非凡想像力、顛覆傳統的全新年度限量系列威士忌。釀酒師探索革新的熟成方法，打破威士忌一般會先放入波本桶熟成的傳統作法，反而先將原酒放在西班牙雪莉橡木桶內熟成，之後再轉至美國波本桶，以同等時間繼續熟成，務求使威士忌融合雪莉桶帶來的辛香料氣息，及波本桶所賦予的甜蜜奶油香味。釀造出的單一麥芽威士忌色澤金黃，帶柑橘香和生薑辛香味，餘韻甜度適中。麥卡倫Concept Number 1的風味獨特，體現大膽創新的冒險精神，同時反映出品牌傳承百年、歷久不衰的釀酒技術，展現對威士忌的不朽熱情。
